Living from Soul

I often hear the debate between heart and mind, between ego and being.  The argument always leaves me feeling divided, like we are only here in bits and pieces until we wake up to the essential self, discard the tainted and move forth with the delights of the free world at our shoulder.  It seems to me, that if the human being is perfect the way we are, if we are meant to be just as we are, then such proportioning of priority certainly misses the point.  For if the soul is the eternal being inside our space suit of ego humanity then would it have not chosen said ego well.  Involved its forming well.  So that when we do wake ourselves up from the slumber of ego sleep, what we realise is the vessel that we have to transport us around in.  The ego then becomes an expression of soul, a vehicle to wander through the human experience with. When we live from soul, the mind and the heart fall into our hands as organs of expression and delight. They no longer have to be pitted in argument up against one another.  They are now in the guidance of soul.

Personal transformation takes place not when we discard or undermine, or put aside any aspect of us.  Transformation, by it's very nature works with what is, transforms what is.  What else do we have to work with other than what we are.

About Me

Phillip C Gordon I am an Alchemist, falling into the fires of transformation over and over as I realise the gold that I am. I choose to serve all humanity to that end, to raise the consciousness of humanity, one by one if that be the case. I am a writer, a speaker, an actor and fool.
