The Poem Of Your Life

A well-written poem uses words sparsely, paints an idea and invokes a feeling and mood often employing two words alone.  Line after line the verse describes something that prose or dialogue is not able to capture.  The relationship between words, not always obvious, imagines for us a world that transports the soul.  Change the position of a single word and the poem takes on a different life.  It is not only the arrangement that expresses meaning, the choice of one word over another, though th...

Within The Pause

I noticed in an interaction with a friend last night that it is difficult for most people to sit in a pause.  We tend to rush in and fill it, with anything.  With chatter or activity.  In those moments where there seems to be nothing going on, where the silence, or non-action is prevalent, we feel a great desire to make a noise or do something.

Own Your Soul

The first and primary principle of my practice is that “All is Consciousness”. That everything in existence, all expression of life, be it organic or manufactured exists within a consciousness that is the totality of all, and that this very same consciousness exists within everything.  Consciousness then is the substance, the medium that we get to play with and indeed play within.
