I noticed in an interaction with a friend last night that it is difficult for most people to sit in a pause. We tend to rush in and fill it, with anything. With chatter or activity. In those moments where there seems to be nothing going on, where the silence, or non-action is prevalent, we feel a great desire to make a noise or do something.
